Biological Abstracts
Biological Abstracts is a comprehensive source of worldwide life sciences literature from 1980-present. Coverage includes agriculture, biochemistry, biomedicine, biotechnology, botany, ecology, microbiology, pharmacology, and zoology.

GeoRef
GeoRef is the CD-ROM version of the American Geological Institute's geoscience database containing over 1.9 million records of North America since 1785, and other areas of the world since 1933. The database is the equivalent of four major reference publications: Bibliography of North American Geology, Bibliography and Index of Geology Exclusive of North America, Geophysical Abstracts, and the Bibliography and Index of Geology. Additional items come from special bibliographies produced on request for state surveys or societies, and annual subject and author indexes

Environmental Protection Agency Databases
Features several database sources, including the Center for Environmental Information and Statistics databases.

Threatened Animals of the World (World Conservation Monitoring Centre)
The WCMC Animals Database holds information on threatened species and others of conservation concern. Part of this database is common to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals, and this information is available here in interactive format. This information resource is a result of long-term collaboration between countless individual scientists worldwide and many organisations, notably the Species Survival Commission of IUCN, BirdLife International and WCMC.

Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) (EPA's Office of Environmental Information (OEI))
Part of the TOXNET toxicology information service fromthe National Library of Medicine, this is an annual compilation of information about environmental releases of over 500 toxic substances.
